FS CG 4245 Rust Preventative

FS CG 4245 Rust Preventative is an oil base, thin film preservative ideally used when parts have been processed through water solutions or exposed to high humidity.  It is practically odorless and does not contain solvents or mineral spirits, thus making it a very low VOC product.  FS CG 4245 will deposit a thin, transparent, light oil film. The coating is not easily disturbed during shipping and handling and possesses residual protective characteristics, even if partof the compound is wiped or rubbed from themetal surface.  Due to surface-active ingredients, the coating will creep over uneven or unclean surfaces to insure a continuous film.  Therefore, it can be used on porous metals and parts with deep crevices.
